KHJ : The Gentle Warrior of Kpop Comes to Asia

He is the warrior that had emerged from many battles , multiawarded , sometimes defeated. But he picks up not only his sword but his resolve to face what lies ahead . More scars meant only the wounds have healed and he braces himself once more to do battle. Battles came in many forms, enemies were in the dark and in the open, but he finds allies of many kinds, supporters cheering him on the roads to the battleground.
Now he battles with himself-what he is capable of doing, what his heart is capable of giving.Sometimes that battle with the self is the one fiercer, more demanding,more exacting,more unforgiving.
Now he looks at the mirror and sees only himself. He can only be truthful of what he had become and what he still wants to be. He had crossed his rubicon and there is no turning back.
Does the one man general, commander of his own army need his sword and armor this time? He extends his hands to show he doesn’t have them, for he doesn’t need them.There is no enemy. For he is coming not to do battle but to the warm embrace of those who love him dearly.

Kim Hyun Joong is set to break the record by any performing artist in Singapore by offering the closest interaction with his audience during his mini-concert on May 4. Originally, only 500 lucky fans would be picked to high-five with him through a ballot. However, Kim Hyun Joong has personally requested to extend this to everyone in attendance, meaning a whopping 3000 fans will now get the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the star! This is an unprecedented gesture from a pop idol.
High-five sessions are normally private sessions that are open to only a small group of fans as part of the fan-meeting package. Fans would either pay a premium fee to enjoy the chance for interaction with their favorite artiste or pray that their lady luck shines on them brightly for them to be picked through a lucky draw. However, Kim Hyun Joong has taken this a step further by expressing his wish to high-five every single member of the audience.
"This is a very special request we’ve received, which proves Kim Hyun Joong’s immense devotion to his fans. We are glad that fans in Singapore will get a very personal touch - pun intended - with Kim Hyun Joong; but we’re also excited that all members in the audience will be part of a record-breaking moment," says Wendy Ng, Executive Producer of Running Into The Sun.
On top of that, Kim Hyun Joong will also be giving away to everyone in the audience one set of the U:ZOOSIN T-shirt and brooch, a cartoon avatar created by Kim Hyun Joong himself. These will be specially made for his fan meeting tour. U:ZOOSIN has sold 50,000 units in Korea alone, boasting approximately USD1,900,000 in sales.
"Kim Hyun Joong 2012 Asia Fan Meeting in Singapore" will showcase more than 10 songs and interactive segments in a two-hour show. Premiere seats, which are seats closest to the stage, have completely sold out. However, fans may still purchase good seats from the Arena and Terrace categories through SISTIC. This fan-meeting will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 4. Korean pretty boy Kim Hyun Joong will be in Singapore for the Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting 2012, held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 4, where he will now high-five all 3,000 fans at the show . Each member of the audience will also receive a set of T-shirt and brooch, featuring the U:ZOOSIN character which is designed by Hyun Joong.
Prior to his arrival, xinmsn caught up with Hyun Joong in a short email interview, though a number of our questions were unfortunately censored by the Korean management. What's the biggest difference between Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong and normal guy Kim Hyun Joong?
I feel that Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong and normal guy Kim Hyun Joong is very different. Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong tries to show his perfect side to the fans, whereas the normal Kim Hyun Joong leads a normal life just like the others. I spend my time reading cartoons and playing soccer.

Between April 9 and 15, music site Monkey3 ran a poll asking fans to vote for an idol that would heal your heart just by looking at him/her. 1,953 netizens participated in the survey, and an overwhelming number of them voted Kim Hyun Joong no. 1 as their “healing-dol.”
Kim Hyun Joong won by a landslide, taking home 1,044 votes (53%). [News]Kim Hyun Joong Is Practicing Hard for Upcoming Taiwanese Fan Meeting
Kim Hyun Joong is practicing hard in order to prepare a fan meeting that is even greater than a mini concert! On May 18-19 he will hold his “2012 Kim Hyun Joong Asia Fan Meeting in Taiwan.” The fan meeting that will span two days is a part of Kim Hyun Joong’s “Asian Tour” which began in Singapore.
Currently he is spending busy days in order to prepare for the fan meeting. He is directly taking part in the planning process of the fan meeting and giving different ideas for events. Kim Hyun Joong’s fan meeting will feature 14 songs.
A representative of Kim Hyun Joong’s agency stated, “Kim Hyun Joong has said that he will meet fans one-on-one through a ‘High-Five Event’ with fans who have come to the concert. He plans to connect with fans by making eye contact with each one. He is preparing hard so that he won’t disappoint his fans, please anticipate the concert.”
Kim Hyun Joong’s fan meetings will continue on in Hong Kong, China, Thailand, and Indonesia.
