Back in Singapore after 8 months, Kim Hyun Joong is here once again as TheFaceShop’s ambassador. Despite a light drizzle before the start of the event, the mood of the fans were not dampened as they waited patiently for Kim Hyun Joong’s arrival. As mentioned from his press conference, he wished to receive the “Best Actor” trophy sold at USS and his wish was partially fulfilled the moment the session started as he was presented with the “Best Singer” trophy as the “Best Actor” trophy was unavailable.
Although Kim Hyun Joong was in Singapore to promote TheFaceShop’s brand and products during this trip, he promised that he will be back in Singapore once again early next year for his solo concert. He also mentioned that there is currently no plans for him to participate in any drama as he would be concentrating on his upcoming concert.
After he autographed the backdrop, he also explained what he signed on it: “Kim Hyun Joong, Double S, 501, 19/8/2011″ which caused the fans to go while at the mention of SS501. A mini photo session also took place after Ah Ken, the host of the day did a sample of how the photo taking session should go about. When doing so, he also took the opportunity to snap a shot with Kim Hyun Joong. After the photo taking session, he then proceeded to pick 3 gifts from the table filled with fan gifts collected earlier. One was an unique fan letter, another was an item which says “Best Lover” and lastly it was a comic book on “How to survive in the space”. When asked if he thinks that he is a good lover, he says that he feels that he is the best lover.
An auction for Kim Hyun Joong’s life size autographed standee and his limted edition DVD took place, where all proceeds were donated to World Vision One Life Fund. A total of $5500 was donated to charity this year, with $2000 from the life size autographed standee and $3500 for his limited edition DVD. Known for his amazing memory, Kim Hyun Joong even recognized the bidder for his limited edition DVD as she was also one of the bidder last year who almost won the autographed standee with a bid of $6000. (The winning bid was $6686) The winners from the auction also got to take a photo with Kim Hyun Joong.
