Kim Hyunjoong achieves a new record Japan after selling more than 200,000 copies of his Japanese single "Heat," making him the first Korean artist to do so this year.
According to Oricon's official homepage, Kim Hyunjoong has sold 200,580 copies of his second Japanese single "HEAT," which was released last July 4th. Proving his popularity in Japan, Kim Hyunjoong recorded higher sales compared to other releases by Korean artists such as Super Junior's "Opera" (184,000 copies) and TVXQ's "Android" (175,000).
Despite the strong competition amongst other Korean artists, Kim Hyunjoong's Japanese agency were proud of the achievement, which has proven his solid popularity in the country.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyunjoong is currently preparing for his upcoming drama comeback "City Conquest," which will start airing late this year.
